Safety, Environment and Quality are three elements that
underpin everything we do in our business. In our line of work, though, you would expect that to be the case.
So, what makes us different? We back up our commitment to safety, environment and quality with action
that applies to each and every piece of work we do.
Safety
We make it our business to stay in touch with each
of the regulators who has an interest in our business: to ensure that we
maintain a current understanding of their requirements for each different type
of operation we undertake. Every on-site
operation we undertake is supported by a job specific Method Statement and Risk
Assessment that incorporates our clients’ local rules and allows us to address
potential problems before they arise. These documents form part of a formal safety management system. Our continued focus on safety has been
recognised by RoSPA.
Environment
We actively encourage our clients to adopt a
recycling approach wherever their inventories allow. When establishing a new recycling route, we
will carry out a Duty of Care visit on the company and it’s processes, both to
assure ourselves it provides genuine recycling and so we can actively engage
with the relevant regulator before any material is sent to the recycling facility. We aim to minimise the impact of our
transport operations by efficient logistics.
Quality
At Safeguard International, we do the job
properly. Clients trust us to carefully
and securely handle the data and information they provide us with and expect us
to use it wisely in the jobs we undertake for them, keeping it safe even after
the work is complete. Our independently
certified ISO 9001: 2000 system provides the basis for all our operations,
giving confidence to our clients that we work in a structured and well planned
